Supporting St. Peter's
Alumni and Friends of St. Peter's
Well-established in the historic Capitol Hill community of Washington,
DC, many alumni and teachers claim St. Peter's school as their own. Early
classmates advance to each new grade level to build friendships throughout
their time at St. Peter's, and continue associations on through middle school,
and high school. Some St. Peter's students grow up in the neighborhood, become
sweethearts, and later marry.
Families count parents, children, in-laws and many uncles, aunts and cousins as alumni of St. Peter's Interparish School. For the 125th Reunion of classmates and faculty in 1993, close to 200 attended — a few from the Class of 1918, and one 1922 graduate, who became school principal from 1950 - 1956.
The school welcomes alumni for visits — and reunions — to reminisce in the company of classmates, historic photos and treasures from our archives. We can help alumni with class lists from our records, and leads on recent addresses. Contact the Principal by email jketchum@stpetersdc.org or by fax 202-547-5101 or by letter 422 Third Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003. Please include a telephone number so we can clarify any requested information. We would love to reacquaint you with St. Peter's school, hear about your life and interests, and welcome you back home to the memories.
